Palm of Summer
Tall as heights
the last of lights
in the palm of summer
rises east
for the beasts
and the beauties
You lift my spirit high
when you awaken by my side
yet I watched you disappear
in the clouds
onto another town
Waiting
I count the stars
and passing cars
too far to touch
I hold onto this moment
continuing for miles

Autumn leave
Cool face as dawn breaks
autumn shifts the night air
Dropping-
From summer to rain
A lonesome figure shimmered
Like a tethered ghost to a tree
So tall and feral and evergreen
I hold to my scarf tightly
I laid down with the leaves
I laid down wondering how to leave
I laid down with the leaves
And woke up in an autumn dream
I don’t know much of anything
But I do know I want you near
To know somebody like you
Makes me feel so alive
You speak to me inciting –
things in me that I believed
Were lost deep in frost
Melting centuries away
I don’t know much of anything
Yet, there is something about you
To know somebo
The Azure Queen
Hey heavy snow
I see you everywhere
You are my devil queen
The hell of my dreams
You're poisoning my sleep
I see you everywhere I breathe
Got lost in your magic
Oh I how longed for you so
Wandering in a dreamless sleep
This azure dream
When those blue snowflakes start falling
Ah - setting sun, you know you ought to run.
When it snows, isn’t it thrilling?
Though your nose gets a chilling
Yeah, you're shivering
And when your heart is sore
And the heavens pour
Like a tree bending in a storm, you'll make it
For love doesn't come in boxes
Nor truth in a crowded shop
But the search it never stops
When walking in a winter
Your Presence
We're so far away you and I,
surrounded by darkness and uncertainty.
Yet every time I look at the sky I feel your presence;
more than any sight of luminescence.
Falling from the sky shining and burning,
you broke the constellations of reason,
charming the rhymes of the seasons,
warming my heart with eyes of fire,
dousing the flames of belligerent ire.
Do you feel the night?
The grass in your hair.
The cold in the air.
The breath in my soul.
A part of the whole.
Stardust maps the course to where we first met.
Just like Saggitarius armed with cupid's bow;
pierced that love into scorpio.
If I'm your sun and you're
White Christmas
In the night, we can hear the snowy owls
dancing around windmills.
As our fireplaces growl
"Hoot, hoot" they say
flirting in the wind
or rather, "let me in".
Perched onto windowsills,
they'll conspire
to turn cheeks afire.
But not tonight.
Mistletoe will take their place,
spreading magic above our heights
with a sweet and innocent kiss.
Blushing faces,
holiday bliss.
Perched onto windowsills,
they'll conspire
to turn cheeks afire.
But not tonight.
In the morning, children will play.
Shaping them into men,
riding them on sleighs,
setting them free at the count of ten,
giving them wings to angels of white.
It's definitely a

Whisper whisper, the walls have ears-
You wouldn't guess
Snicker snicker, obsess obsess
So 'n so, sneer-
He appeared
Quiet quiet, don't confess
Such finesse
From the peers
We're on stage now, I think it's time
Wearing your coveted masks
Those perfect lines
Who would notice or even ask?
After all it isn't a crime
Easier done than not; a simple task
Faithful
I can feel you pull away-
as your eyes show deceit,
blinded by the promise of treasure.
I was told to let go of it all,
and you wouldn't let me call.
I feel responsible for us,
that I haven't done enough to warm cold feet.
Can't you see it's all about faith?
I felt foolish in this life,
dreaming to be husband and wife.
While you secretly broke free,
I never asked for a receipt.
Can't you see it's all about trust?
A thousand thoughts crossed my mind,
when I found the answer I never wanted to find.
Yet I still believe,
that one day I'll be complete.
As I sat in reverie,
An angel sang to me-
and spoke of being free.
Fruity Delights
Bumping me like an accident-
With blueberry eyes hiding this underlying belief;
"No, no it must be fate!"
While gifting me, this banana smile.
All fruit must grow in a day of rain-
Before harvesting this aroma of attraction,
Some soaked from head to toe.
While others sheltered with care under olive umbrellas.
Let's make it a date.
I'm convinced.
So dress up those rose hips and lead the way,
Come on and spread the night out like marmalade.
Budding as an orange crush...
Oh Clementine, Clementine, won't you sing for me?
This tomato flush must be a sign of love,
So let's bring out the chocolate and strawberries as
Eye Contact
We talk about everything.
Dreams, life, fears and things.
Back and forth, to school we go,
Smiling memories and fun even moreso.
I think you're special!
I'm really not antisocial...
I know you're taken.
Don't be mistaken-
You tell me, to look at you when you speak.
But I can't and You give me cheek.
So I'm afraid to look, and I can't tell you...
And I'm afraid, of betrayal, because I know, If I looked...I'd fall in love with you.
Sometimes...romance can be so bittersweet.
One Morning
Every morning I get out of bed,
Hearin' my favourite tunes hitting my head,
with clothes scattered all over the place.
I go ahead and criticize my face.
In the mirror.
Running late,
going past eight!
And unknowingly guided by fate.
I saw you in the rain,
In so much pain.
I wanted to make you better.
You were soaked up to your hair,
So I offered my umbrella.
But I instantly went mute,
'cause you looked so cute
and you insisted we should share.
Being shy, the ground brushed my feet.
But you weren't, and made our arms meet.
Smelling so sweet.
Surprised, with a grin on my face;
my heart went on a race,
